La Florida

 It's no secret that I'm a sucker for rum and vermouth and grenadine. In fact the Sloppy Joe may just have been my stepping stone to discovering tiki drinks.  It was many years ago and it's a little hazy... Another such drink, also from Cuba, is La Florida.  It's like the Art Deco version of a Sloppy Joe ;)

La Florida

1oz lime juice

½oz Italian vermouth

¼oz creme de cacao

tsp curacao

tsp grenadine

1 ounce light PR rum (Havana Club)

Shake, strain, twist

This is delicous! I need to make this more often.
