Mr Aloe

For quite some time now (8 years?) we have had an aloe plant. It grew for a while and then seemed to be dormant. One summer we put the aloe outside in the front garden. It thrived! It grew several offshoots and became almost to large for it's pot. Then we brought it back inside, where it has been somewhat neglected. Recently we moved it to the back yard. It started to look unwell, at first i thought it was the difference in colour from indoor to outdoor lighting. I think not. Today it looked a little brown. Currently it's in the front yard, where i will keep an eye on it. :)

I'm on vacaton next week

So no excuse for not blogging, right? We'll see what adventures i ge up to. Laundry and surfing the 'net is my guess.

The house may be sold. Yay!

House For Sale

The sign went on the lawn Thursday. The painting and rearranging and cleaning and fretting and lifting and whatnot continued until this morning(Saturday). Some people came to view the house. Now we sit and wait and keep our fingers crossed. :)

We're quite tired and are glad to be back home. Luckily we were able to fill our day with things that kept us out of the house. The cat has been boarded, it's just easier that way.

We're moving

That's right! We bough a house. When we move is not settled yet. I know when it will be before, it just might be a couple of days before, or a few weeks. It all depends on when our place sells.

OKay, so now i can't input a title. Hmmm... Anyway, today i had an XL coffee. First one in a while. I think i can keep things under control. ;) No coffee this afternoon, none this evening, it's all good....

For a while now certain webpages have been difficult to view. Especially ones with videos embedded in them. I changed some settings, including turning on script debugging. Much better! I can see everything on a page, no more freezing up when i click on a link. Yay! :)

It's amazing what happens when you have things set up properly. Except that for some reason i can't get in to the title field right now, weird.

New Hire

So, today was tiring. More than i expected. We have a new employee, i am in charge of training. Who new training would be so tiring? I expect it would be more tiring if our trainee didn't catch on to things as well as she has......

I just realised how little i care for the word "trainee." Let's stick to new hire, shall we? Okay, good.
