The Things You Miss When You Sleep Through The Night

I am suddenly aware of time passing quickly. Something that happened in January has just come to my attention now. Goes to show how long it's been since i looked in to certain things. Goes to show how we all take things for granted. Goes to show I'm not a teenager anymore.

As a teenager my favourite radio programme was Brave New Waves on the CBC. It no longer exists. That's a shame. I wonder if sourcing ones own music online is going to adequately replace it? I doubt it. Suddenly hearing (and hearing about) a new band/artist is very different than stumbling upon something yourself. It's also much more likely you'll hear something you wouldn't have otherwise sought out. Oh well, whatareyougonnado? I'm obviously quite behind the times. I'm behind the times in other areas as well but that can wait for another day. I wonder what else is crumbling away while i sleep. The shores of Lake Erie I'll bet.........

It's hot (Sweating 101)

Maybe it isn't. But i am. I've been lifting boxes and furniture and driving around with no AC. I feel a little gross. Oh well, that's what happens.....

Welcome To My 100th Blogger Post

Wow, one hundered post! When i started it was just so i could comment on other blogs. And now look at me, ;). Anyway, Lollapalooza was good. Yes good. The music perfromances were great, The food was okay, the traipesing around was tiring. So all in all it gets a good. The music really was great though. i get to far too few live shows these days (one more thing to add to the list of took-it-for-granted-as-a-teenager) and it was a lot of fun to see so many shows. I'm not as sore as i was. But i was sore. Three days in a park, hotel bed, yadda yadda. The driving back from Chicago didn't help either. The surface quality of I-69 & I-94 leave something to be desired. Something like the 402, imagine that!

I would like to return to Chicago, there's so much more to see. Maybe take the train next time.....

The house is officially sold. Time to start the countdown to moving day. Also, must remember to change our address with everyone/thing/place.

Uh, ... i suppose i don't have much to say for blog #100. No hooplah, no fireworks, no superfantastic can't-stop-reading-it story. Just some stuff that happened recently. And not nearly everything that happened recently...just some stuff

Now i'll have to come up with my best introductory college course joke for the next post ;)

Bumpity Bump Bump Thump

Ahhh, back in Ontario (eee-oh, eee-oh.) Land of smooth highways (technically freeways.) Illinois: thumpy; Indiana: bumpy; Michigan: bumpy; Ontari: smoooooth. :)

Maybe that's the real cause of serious collision on the 402 & 401. No bumps to keep the drivers awake and alert. Just smooth straight roads. Ahhh, taxes at work. ;)
